| Biography: | Andreas Wagner studied mechanical engineering at the University of Karlsruhe, Germany, before he worked as a researcher on solar thermal systems at the Fraunhofer Institute in Freiburg, Germany, from 1987 to 1995. Since then he is a full time professor for building physics and technical building services at the faculty of architecture of the University of Karlsruhe, leading a group of 10 researchers (www.fbta.uni-karlsruhe.de). Main research fields are low energy concepts for buildings, monitoring and evaluation strategies of HVAC systems as well as building simulation. From 2000 to 2004 he was dean of the faculty and since 1999 he is one of the founding partners of ip5 engineers and consultants in Karlsruhe, Gemany (www.ip5.de). |
