| Biography: | Dr. Banaszuk is a Fellow, and Project Leader at DARPA Robust Uncertainty Mgmt., in the Hamilton Sundstrand Program Office at UTRC. Since joining UTRC in 1997, Dr. Banaszuk has conducted research in control-oriented modeling, nonlinear model validation, parameter identification, and linear, nonlinear and adaptive control design for unsteady flow and combustion phenomena affecting operations of aero engines. Dr. Banaszuk has authored 36 journal papers and two patents. Dr. Banaszuk holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology. From 1999 to 2002, he was an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions of Controls Systems Technology. He was appointed to serve on the Board of Governors of IEEE Control Systems Society in 2004. |
